Hi all,

Me and my partner have been trying for a few months now. Her cycle has been around 40+ days since she came off the pill in the Summer.

It is currently 54 days.

Last Friday we tested on the ones with the lines and they both showed faint lines. So we went and tried a clear blue digital which said pregnant 1-2 weeks. We were of course over the moon.

Tonight we decided to test again to see if the weeks would change and it’s now saying ‘not pregnant’ - instantly gutted.

My partners urine was quite diluted from drinking a lot and we’ve done it quite late too - roughly 20:30. She hasn’t bled at all. We are totally confused.

Has she had a chemical pregnancy? Have we lost it? Has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions.

Thank you.

If she hasn’t bled I would take that as a really good sign. Perhaps try again in the morning with her first urine. I do think those clear blues are great at early detection but I think once the levels get too high they stop working. Has she booked in with a midwife?

Test in the morning.
She's early, her urine is strongest in the morning.

Unfortunately she has bled this morning, so assuming we have lost it. Has happened twice now… getting a bit depressive

Really sorry to see your update, are you in the uk? Can she go to the early pregnancy unit for support? Sorry this has happened before also, sometimes it’s good to talk-have you got someone IRL who you can chat openly with? Or posting how you are coping on here.. lots of support for you.
