I have a very specific set of requirements for a one or two night stay at the end of November/beginning of December.
I and my son live 300 miles from my mum and my brother. A couple of times a year, I and my son meet my mum somewhere in the middle. We usually do Chester or Liverpool, but they’re quite expensive over the time we are looking for this year!
Requirements
- near a main train station (DM doesn’t drive)
- near a premier inn/travelodge (DM doesn’t like independent hotels in my budget)
- near something that could be fun for a five year old and a three year old
- DM can’t/won’t walk very far so a forest trail or something similar won’t work!
Driving wise, within a 2/3 hour radius of north wales, I’m wondering if somewhere like Birmingham might be good?
