Sports Direct bags for life can you take them back?

Like you do supermarket ones and get another one if it's torn? Can you do the same with the more pricey supermarket ones too? The ones that are a bit more sturdy. I got two today and the lady said yeah if they rip keep ur receipt and bring them back. Never had to keep my receipt for a bag for life.

As the sales assistant has told you to keep your receipt you can guarantee they won’t replace without it.
Their policies return are awful for actual goods, never mind carrier bags!
