Has anyone had a refund back from utility point if they were in credit? My parents still waiting on theirs £179 and mine was £170 only I had switched just before they went bust and cancelled the DD so not sure if they will automatically refund back into my account.

Anyone had their money back yet?

£800 owed here, and still waiting. It could, apparently, take months, and they're currently boasting that they've already moved 10% of the Utility Point customers across. Wow - just 10% in 6 weeks, and they think that's good!

Argh I guess I was being optimistic to hope they could have it sorted before Xmas. I have a feeling it will take some wrangling especially if you had switched just before they went bust..

Oh was going to update - received an email from edf this week saying they will refund the outstanding balance by cheque as we switched just before.

My parents have had an email from edf as well and they’ve said they will transfer the balance. Hope others have had similar emails

Good news OP. Yes my parents have had an email today too so fingers crossed they can afford the new tariff and the credit gets transferred which will help massively.
