Has anyone seen the Legal and General ad about equity release? The actors reply to situations where they've booked a holiday or ordered a conservatory by saying their home help pay for it! I didn't know home helps were so well paid. Can I be one please?

They’re saying their home helped pay for it. As in, the equity they released from their property covered the cost of the new conservatory.

do you really think I'm that stupid. Of course I know what the advert dialogue is. It just seemed like a bit of whimsy (obviously not the same sense of humour as previous posters - but there you go - horses for courses!)
