Kids story reader, like MeReader?

Does anybody know of anything that I could use like MeReader? I read stories to my son every night but he wants them to keep going and I think that after I've left him it would be good to have some kind of audio story or self directed story going on. He's 5. Any thoughts grateful received! We had a paw patrol MeReader that is out of battery but anything along these lines that I'm not noticing exists?

I've bought a yoto player as DS was similar. You buy story cards that they can put in a slot and it plays the story. Also has a kids radio station.

Another vote for the Yoto player. It's a fantastic investment and can be used for much more than just reading stories.

We have a tonie box - it's awesome 😊

We have a Yoto and a Toniebox and Dd much prefers the Tonie. The characters are adorable and the bundles are quite good value.
