We’ve been away over half term (not even for fun - we were keeping an eye on various relatives while my parents went for their first break in two years) and we’ve had squatters move in… little incontinent rodenty ones 😬 We’ve caught two on the pantry shelf so far, and have cleared all the food from there that they can eat, then this morning I’ve noticed shit on some of DS’s soft toys - thankfully not ones he cuddles or plays with. I’ve emptied the box they were in and found no more so I reckon they’ve come down from the loft to explore, found nothing to eat (thank goodness we don’t do food upstairs) and left… now wondering if these are the downstairs mice, or whether we are dealing with a two pronged attack 
Will be sending DH up the loft to set another trap later (there’s no ladder and I can’t pull myself up to do it), just needed to vent because arrrrrrrgh YUCK.
