Buying trousers for my son has always been a pain, to get the leg length right I have to pull in the elastic adjusters really tight or with joggers I have to sew in extra elastic to hold them up. He is 8.

Where do you buy slim fit/ skinny jeans I am struggling to find any that fit.

Posting to find the answer. My son is 4 but 118cm. He's also a beanpole.
Primark used to be good for size as they cut quite skinny. I don't like much of their stuff at the moment though.

Boden are quite narrow fitting and have adjustable waists. Tbh though, my elder DS is now 6'2" at 15, and is underweight (GP has said it's just the way he's built) and he's always been comfier in jogging bottoms rather than jeans. Having all that denim pulled in at the waist just isn't very comfy.

Boden are great for jeans, they seem to fit my Ds13yo whatever size he is and there is a good selection. The adventurer jeans have masses of stretch and adjustable waists. They do regular and slim fit in that style. The slim fit it quite slim indeed.

Tall slim 8 year old here too. Best I've found are Gap ones with the elastic inside. They still need pulling right in and bunch up a bit but they look and feel better than others we've had.

H&M jeans suit my beanpole

H&m skinny jeans here too. Also Vertbaudet slim fit jeans are great and made to last too.
