Anyone a HCA in the community or hospital ?

Currently a qualified nurse in a very stressful area but probably going to take flexi retirement in Feb. I really cannot be bothered with revalidation etc so am considering working as a HCA for a day or two a week to top up my pension. Banks shifts a plenty on the wards but a vacancy has come up in the community which pretty much fits the hours I would like. Anyone work as a HCA in the community ? What's it like ? What are your responsibilities ? Is it as stressful as on the wards ? appreciate it probably is but in a different way

I worked as a hca in the community. It was atrocious. Don't do it. Very stressful and treated like absolute shite.

I'd go onto the bank if I were you maybe but hcas get treated terribly everywhere tbh.

That's depressing to hear Sad. On my current ward some HCAs are treated better than others to be honest (not by me I hasten to add), just depends on personality I guess.
