It was someone's bright idea to nominate me to create a quiz for one of our team. My brief is it just needs to be fun and everyone should at least be able to answer something. Team members range from the age of 23 to 58!!!
Can I please get some help with this - I've managed 5 questions need 15 more

Anagrams of celebs
Song lyrics - guess the song
Album covers
Geography/history/sport - think of themes and create questions from that. I know you have 5 already but I'd go for 4 or 5 themes and then 4/5 within that theme.

If you can do visuals then photos of famous city skylines is good. Or city maps.

show an image of an island or a city metro map without labels & ask people to name it.

i've done lots of harry potter themed questions, but that only works for a certain age range.

if the players all grew up in the UK, then questions based on nursery rhymes can be good

Logos
Stop the bus
Catchphrase

Dingbats

Very obscure words, three definitions suggested, one correct. You could just make it related to a particular theme, food maybe, sports, geology.

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 31/10/2021 03:52

How old is X in seconds (maybe guess your age in seconds)

How far from _ to _ in metres / feet

Guess what book an illustration is from

EmmaGrundyForPM · 31/10/2021 03:55

Can you let us know the questions you've. already got? Then we could suggest some more along the same lines

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 31/10/2021 04:05

of you have the time for research then trick questions are good, stuff like "what's a Bombay duck?" (it's a fish, not a duck!)

recognise songs played backwards. this is hard but a lot of fun.
I was very proud when i was the only one recognising the Sherlock theme song !🤣 (it was lucky as I had just binged watch 3 episodes the night before)

if it's people who you know well and they also know each other well you could do a "who said it?" quiz and use lines & catch phrases that your colleagues often say.
(if you've seen Brooklyn 99 then think Boyle Bingo, "Terry loves yogurt" etc.)
you could give 3 options to choose from to make it easier.
if we did it within my family then "who says shut the door?" would be correctly identified as "mummy" and we also all know who says "sugar is evil", "undeservedly well" and "I want hot chocolate".
stuff like that

Movie posters (without the name on)

Film taglines
"They'll never get caught, they're on a mission from God" - The Blues Brothers

samwitwicky · 31/10/2021 07:57

Get pictures of them as babies / kids and play guess who

georgedawes · 31/10/2021 07:58

I think visual or audio type questions are fun, so guess the film/TV show from the theme tune? Guess the brand logo? Or a catchphrase type guess the phrase quiz.

sabrinatheteenagemortal · 31/10/2021 10:03

Watch Richard osmans house of games - they do a good range of different rounds rather than just the plain answer/question type. I particularly like the song intros one - the have to guess when the singing starts, you can do it using the timers on their phone. Also answer smash is always fun.

Limer · 31/10/2021 10:07

Do the team members all work in the same place? The best-received team quiz I ever set was all about their office - how many visitors' car parking spaces, what brand was the liquid soap in the toilets, what colour was the lino in the kitchen, etc.
