If someone handed you £100 tomorrow, and you had to spend it in a week, what would you buy?

Food shop. Maybe some flowers with the leftover.

A question being pondered in Northern Ireland right now as the Spend local cards are issued. I'm going for a nice meal with mine, it's byo so will get wine in local off licence and get the train there.

I just did - in Northern Ireland so we were all given a £100 spend local gift card. I spent it on new boots!

I was just going to ask if OP was in NI

So far I've used it in Dunnes and Boots really need to scale it down to the smaller companies somehow but finding it difficult.

Groceries.
I don't need anything at the moment and I am not into stuff.

I need a navy blue mid length warm raincoat thing so perhaps that, but all the coats in the shops this year look like sleeping bags tbh.

Pjs, light up candle, new trainers and coffee and a cake with leftovers

I did that when I was given £100 for my birthday. Gives me so much pleasure.

A massive White Company Christmas candle and some new fluffy towels

I've just spent just under £100 on new underwear and socks since the once i had been wearing were pre DD who is 2

In NI too and have just received my voucher today. Am thinking maybe gold stud earings from a local jewellery shop and possibly a new pillow with the remainder.

I'd love a pair of DM boots, that would be my treat.

Some ankle boots, a cardigan or jumper, and a wig - since Covid in July, my hair is falling out by the handful!

I’ve been thinking about investing in some reusable period pants, I think they’re about £25 a pair for decent ones so I could get 4 pairs with that!

I'd get my hair done.
My hairdresser's been on mat leave since January, so I've not had more than a trim in over a year.
I'd also get us a couple of cream cakes for us to eat as we usually have a good natter while I'm there.
