my kettle stopped working last week. i turned it on and it blew the electric so went out and bought another. today same thing with the iron. does this mean everything else is going to go the same way? should i ask for a hairdryer for christmas in order to be prepared? also can anyone recommend an iron? have begun looking at amazon but the reviews send me mad. all good then one person says DO NOT BUY!!!! and i cross another off the list. happy to pay around £60 for a decent steam iron. what do you have?
