What are you doing with your kids today?

I had hopes of taking them out this morning but it seems all the Halloweeny things are booked up. What is everyone else up to today with their DC's?

Think we might just have to settle with a park trip.

I’ve sent my partner off with dd to go swimming and then they are going to a nearby wood where there is a “ghost” trail.
We’re having a mini Halloween party tomorrow, so I’ve got to get stuff for that.

We're taking DS to a nearby giant pick and mix shop in lieu of trick or trieating. He's beside himself with excitement.

Nothing. The younger two are currently with my mum until their dad picks them up and DS1 has covid and was in hospital until the 5am (he had an asthma attack). So we're having a PJ day and hoping he doesn't deteriorate any or have another asthma attack.

Eldest is in a band competition with school so we are going along to support that. Younger two will go to a Halloween party at the youngests’ sport place tonight. Sad to say they have a better life than me

Ours are young adults and a 16 year old but just back from a lovely garden Center brunch all together with dh, dd2,dd3 myself and dd2's girlfriend.
Then off to nieces birthday celebration this afternoon together.

A really lovely family day actually that makes me very happy after a few difficult years .

Dd 16 is at a 2 night sleepover and 2 Halloween parties.

Ds 14 and asd is just here with us but will make pumpkins later.

DD (9) has had athletics followed by swimming, she's carved a pumpkin and currently arguing about being asked to do her spellings.

DS (12) has also had athletics, and also arguing about doing the homework he's been putting off the whole half term. He's not having his Playstation or phone back until it's done, so he's not very happy.

Just back from a week away with DHs family and it’s wet and dreary here so today will mostly be spent watching films and doing laundry. Tomorrow we are going to our church’s light party, which of past years are anything to go by will involve far more sweets than just going trick or treating

We had rugby tots this morning, a lazy afternoon of not really doing anything, we’re having our yearly halloween party tonight, we set the venue up yesterday to get it out of the way.
