Calling on the wisdom of lovely mnetters. I am thinking of introducing dd (almost 4) to Disney story books (B&TB, Aladin, Sleeping Beauty etc ) Does anyone have any recommendations for good quality books appropriate for 4 year olds please? I've been looking on amazon and seen the Little Golden Book Disney books but the reviews are not great in terms of the quality of the books . I would like them to be good quality books (not something which looks like it has been done at home) with lots of pictures to keep her attention please. Doesn't have to be in a set, happy to get them individually. Thank youFlowers

We have some Ladybird ones which are quite nice but the ones we have are at least 8 years old, and some of them nearer 35 years old.

DD has the Usborne Fairy Tale Treasury, but it's not "Disney" stories.

I've never come across a Disney Book that is well written. They are nearly always far too long as they have to cram a whole film into a book. They are dull in the language they use.

If I am asked to read one I usually end up telling the story by looking at the pictures to escape the mind numbing words.
