Hampton court Palace question

Hi all
I bought annual membership for Hampton Court palace on Friday (yesterday) with the Hope of being able to go tomorrow for the last of the half term Halloween activities.

Didn’t realise that I would need my membership number to log in to book in advance the time slot.

I emailed the membership email but the office is only open mon- fri as it’s the telephone number.

So my question is anyone who has had membership can you attend on the day and book a slot with your membership for a future slot on that day? The website says if you have bought membership and don’t have your number you can turn up with your proof of purchase. Presumably this was written before COVID.

We live over an Hour away so don’t want to have a wasted journey if we cannot get in.

Did you join online? I joined when I was there and they gave me my membership card on the spot. Their website suggests that you can buy tickets on the day, so presumably that includes members’ tickets, but have you tried tweeting them to confirm that?

Yes joined online. Haven’t tried tweeting so could try that. It’s a little frustrating that the membership office is only open mon-Friday. The telephone number does not link directly to the place to ask either.

Hi OP - I took out HRP annual membership in September and it took some time for my card to arrive. Until it did, I had no problem visiting Hampton Court or any of the other palaces by just showing my membership confirmation email at the entrance. Same for purchasing items at the gift shop/food and drink to get the member's 10% discount.
