What martial arts class for an 8 year old lego ninjago fan?

I know it sounds silly but I've thought for a while that martial might be good for DS (discipline/focus as he has adhd). Anyway his current obsession is lego ninjago so it's a good opportunity to give it a go. They talk about 'spin jitsu' so I thought maybe jujitsu, although probably doesn't matter too much. Does anyone know much about them and what might be best for an 8 year old with adhd! Thanks

I'd try a few and see what his favourite is!

... and also to see which instructors he clicks with/ you get a good feeling for.

Really good point @TheSpottedZebra - it does all depend on his relationship with the instructor!

My 7 and 5 year old do jujitsu. It definitely helps with discipline so I'd recommend. It does take a few weeks for them to get comfortable with the classes though so I would make sure to try more than 1 lesson before deciding.

Kids cannot fully do martial arts which rely heavily on joint manipulation due to risk of harm to growing joints.

I imagine that's why karate is so popular for dc.

Personally I'd see what martial arts you can physically get to and give them a try.
