I am not going down the cake smash route. It will be late November I just keep looking online but don't know what I want!

Boy or girl? Indoor or outdoor?

I always get my son’s pictures took in autumn/winter and love chunky knitwear (Zara is good) and either skinny jeans/chinos/cords.

I tend to stick to a plain colours like khaki, fawn, grey and choose textured knits to add interest. If pattern then I go for something classic that won’t date.

One top tip of mine is to take a change of clothes. It doesn’t have to be a full set but for an outside shoot I take a couple of hats and sweaters so I get a variety of pictures and different looks. I normally ask the photographer and they are fine with it, you can very quickly change top and even quickly take boots off and swap to wellies as well.

White babygro - all babies look gorgeous anyway, but the white BG adds to the innocent cuteness

I am leaning towards a white dress I think.
