Best family friendly Halloween films?

All my DC have covid currently. They are not too ill but clearly can't go trick or treating. I thought we could watch a Halloweeny film instead but I don't know any! I looked up the Addams family 2 but apparently it's terrible. What films would you recommend that would be good for a quite sensitive 10 year DS? He is the one that is most worried about films.

Muppets Haunted Mansion
Goosebumps (1 and 2)
The Witches (Original and remake)
Halloweentown

DS and I enjoyed the house with a clock in its walls last weekend.

I have a dd10 who loves all the Adam’s family films (no matter how terrible the reviews) so he might enjoy it anyway?
She also enjoyed Halloween town last night (I nearly fell asleep! )
Nightmare before Christmas always gets watched twice (once at Halloween and then again at xmas)
Am trying to persuade her to watch hocus pocus but she is very resistant for some reason

Nightmare before Christmas, we watched it last year at the cinema my three year old like it so think a sensitive 10year old would be fine.

My kids are 11 and 9 and quite sensitive. They loved the Muppets Haunted Mansion and Halloweentown, and the Hotel Transylvania series.

Thanks for all the tips! Nightmare before Christmas looks like my top pick so far.

Beetle juice is a 15 certificate and The witches have some quite scary looking witches in it when they all take their masks off. Wouldn't say they'd be good for a sensitive child. My guys have enjoyed the corpse bride today and the also love Hocus Pocus.

Stompythedinosaur · 30/10/2021 00:44

Nightmare before Christmas, all three Hotel Transylvania films, Caster the friendly ghost, the Addams Family, Wallace and Grommet Curse of the Were Rabbit
