I've tried to be patient but I'm failing! Has anyone else been with Avro energy and now been fully switched to Octopus? Very long story short: I had a massive debit balance with Avro, which we were disputing and which had been referred to the ombudsman. I have no idea whether this debit will be transferred to Octopus and no one seems to be able to tell me. (I can find lots of reassurance about credit balances - nothing about debit.) The ombudsman has closed my complaint and said to contact Octopus. Octopus have helpfully said any complaint with Avro is "no longer valid" but not whether they're expecting the debit to be paid to them. I'm potentially stuck with a massive bill that is the result of illegal back billing, but with no way to get this rectified.
