Arghh, can't find a nickle free fitness watch for my stupid sensitive skin.
Very bad rash from Fitbit Versa 2 and Polar Ignite.

Had no allergy from Garmin Vivosmart way back in 2014 but the screen lost it's display very quickly so not keen..

Have tried friends Garmin and Huawei had had rashes from them too.

My skin takes unto two weeks to recover, anyone have such stupid skin and a fitness watch that doesn't leave an itchy sticky mess?

Not tried it on a fitness watch but usually just paint the back of my watch with clear nail varnish.

Thank you, think nail polish could interfere with the charging connectors. Have also thought of putting porous tape on my wrist too

I'd it the strap or the actual watch you are allergic too. If it's the strap then change it.I have the same allergy but I've been fine with my Apple Watch.

I'm mildly allergic to nickel but I also react to the silicone strap of both my previous (Fitbit) and current (Huawei) fitness trackers. I've found it's better if I keep the strap scrupulously clean, and suspect I'm actually reacting to something that deposits itself on the band — maybe soap, possibly my own dead skin cells? 🙄 Anyway, that's my first suggestion: try making sure there's no deposits of anything on the band.

Thank you Toddler and Clumping, its the nickel on the watch and I wash the watch every day, swapping the wrist. Still get the wet itchy rash. Am OK with the silicon strap. My poor mum is allergic to shoes! I'm just allergic to plasters and some metals on jeans.
Thinking of trying the Garmin Vivosmart but won't be able to read the little watch face without reading glasses. Sad

Allergies are a total PITA 😒 I'm allergic to my favourite fidget toy and come up in itchy blisters all over my fingers… Hope you can find something that works for you.
