I posted this in general health but didn’t get an replies so thought I’d try posting here.
I was taken to hospital with a suspected TIA yesterday and was told I had all the classic symptoms and to call an ambulance as soon as I start to feel strange rather than waiting for the double vision and slurred speech I had yesterday.
I’ve been referred to the stroke clinic for an MRI to make sure there’s no damage and an neck ultrasound to see if there’s any clots there
I’m terrified that I’m going to have another one…. has anyone had a TIA that was a one off or didn’t go on to have a full stroke?
I’m feeling very scared and ready today so could do with a handhold.
