Hi lovelies, wondering if I can have some insight.
I'm 40+ 5 weeks pregnant today (29th October), I had my membrane sweep at 11.30 on the 27th. I know that some spotting and cramping after is normal. I think I lost some of my mucus plug on the 14th and I lost some more yesterday morning but it was a bit blood tinged because of the sweep, but I don't know if it could have been classed as bloody show. I have had on and off cramping but nothing that would indicate contractions as they haven't stayed and I have had inner thigh pains which I have read some women have had in labour with contractions. Does this all sound as though the sweep has worked and that I can expect labour to start soon? I really don't want to be induced so I'm hoping that this is going to work.
