Hiya I'm looking for advice it's 230am and my son woke up saying he had a pain in his belly then he said his bum was sore and when I checked these were on his bum and in his nappy

I don’t think so - but no idea what it is.

How many are there, roughly?

Actually, I've had a Google and they do look like threadworm eggs.

Sorry to sound gross but to check for worms you need to look in his bum. If he's got them moderately to badly you will see them wriggling from his anus especially if you check in dark using a torch. The things in those pics look too round and fat to be worms. The eggs are only the size of pin pricks. I'd worn him any way with ovex as a precaution- itchy bum in young kids is often worms.
