Has anyone had to change from memory foam mattress to different sort because of menopause?
I have tempur mattress and starting to wake up in night feeling really hot.

Me!! I also had a coccyx injury but had to stop using the support cushion as it made me so hot!!

We switched to a Premier Inn mattress which is much better. Plus I have a 1.5 tog duvet and all the windows open. For some reason DH has taken to wearing full pyjamas Grin

Yes. Made me so warm.
I went and got a Hypnos mattress instead.
I also realised that memory foam was making my joints ache.

I often wake up multiple times in the night and struggle to leave the foam cocoon.

It's a brand new bed!

I have changed my bed sheets as well and that has helped. I had very soft cotton thick things.
I have changed to a few cheap duvets which has helped. But I still get hot.

I've bought a cooling blanket and it seems to be working although DH jokes about my ‘selection pack’ of blankets (cooling with heating side, weighted, knitted, quilted and fluffy faux fur)
