Recommend me a restaurant in Cambridge please!

Meeting up with a few friends from around the country. Looking for a good restaurant to sit and eat tasty food and relax and catch up in. Needs to cater for GF. Bonus if it has a good bar for before/after too. Thank you 😊

Ivy brasserie, the oratory, browns. Six at the varsity hotel.

Bills is nice and ok for GF. Good knowledge of cross contamination and gf options of normal menu stuff.

I’ve been to this one and it was lovely. An independent restaurant on the riverside.

Browns is my favourite. Lovely food and nice cocktails. 🍸

I thought Browns had massively gone down hill the last few years, the service has been terrible.

I do like Kettners, it's so pretty. But it's still Pizza Express.

The chop house is very central and nice food but quite old fashioned

The eagle pub has a bit of history about it ... frequented by RAF in war. Nice pub grub and good drinks selection. Not posh but enjoyable.
