Biscuit week

I am struggling this week with biscuit week, the week before my period when biscuits find themselves in my mouth with no conscious decision to eat them.

Is there anything I can take to counteract it, like a vitamin or something herbal? I assume it's some kind of hormone surge or drop or something?

I am working from home so can't even go for a walk or anything. I'm not hungry, just having cravings for food.

I’m no help I would just eat the biscuits Grin

I would, and do, eat the biscuits. Then hate myself.

As an aside, I have a seafood week. I see food...I eat...

I'm supposed to be dieting. Sad been absolutely on plan for two weeks then today boom biscuit week hits.

I know it's biscuit week because I'm not hungry I just want to eat.

Could you do some healthy/lower sugar baking so that at least it's not biscuits?

I did read that weight naturally fluctuates in relation to period cycles. So it can actually help rather than tracking your weight week to week, try weighing weekly and comparing to the weight of 4 weeks previously (adjust if you don't have a 28 day cycle) or even just weighing once per cycle. That can help you to see your progress in a more realistic way rather than getting discouraged because it seems to go up and down constantly.
