In the news - scientists have long theorised that there is an undetectable sub-atomic particle called a sterile neutrino. Around 200 hundred scientists with 150 tonnes of hardware have been searching for it and they have now decided that it doesn't exist after all.
I don't know why they thought their equipment would be able to detect something that their theories tell them is undetectable but there you go!
