Does the change in taper rate for Universal Credit also apply to housing benefit?

I'm still on legacy benefits and would be very much helped by this change but unsure if it will apply or not!

I don't think it applies to any legacy benefits, I'm afraid. Only Universal Credit. It's a carrot to get us to switch over.

Very much doubt it. Seems like the plan is to make legacy benefits as uncomfortable as possible until everyone switches. Then they'll probably cut UC!!

I absolutely cannot bring myself to switch until forced to - single self employed parent with wildly fluctuating income that can't really be evened out!
