Next - returns ?

I took a top back the other day. The man said I was late taking it back, but did take it.
I noticed on the receipt that I got nearly £3 less than was on the item tag.
Is this a late return policy ? I’m not sure what has happened.

I know if you send it back by post now they deduct £2 as a fee Hmm
Might be related to that in some warped way? Or the top could now be at a discounted price so you got that one and not what you originally paid.

Did you have the receipt? If you didn’t then you’ll get back whatever the current price is, so sounds like it’s now in the sale.

They sometime add admin charges for late returns.

I ordered it online. The tag said £22.
I’m not going to quibble over a couple of quid, I just wondered if you get charged for late returns. Or maybe it’s in the sale.

It’s Next’s returns policy, a restocking or admin fee.

I ordered a dress and they send me the wrong one and I still had to pay the fee. There is no way around it apparently.

That’s strange. I ordered something from them which arrived 10 days ago. I took it back today into store and the receipt they gave me says it’s a full refund. My account statement isn’t showing anything up yet so will keep an eye out for that. The cashier did ask me the reason for return which they’ve not asked for years. I ordered the wrong size and they were fine with it.

Just to clarify my Hmm isn’t at you. It’s aimed at Next. Never used to deduct, as far I’m aware.

No that’s their error, you absolutely should not have paid.

I returned two items last week and was refunded in full.
