Anyone been? I'm trying to get a sense of how special it feels- looking for somewhere for a pre-theatre meal for a group to celebrate my sister's 50th.

Thanks!

I went there by myself for a Sunday roast while I was in London for work a couple of years ago, it's really nice. Smart but not too posh, nobody batted an eye about me being there alone.

The food was delicious and I really loved the style of the decor, even in the toilets!

Really special. They will even make a specially tailored not-on-the-menu cocktail for your sister if you tell them what she likes. Just as long as there are no veggies in your group!- as it is very much geared to the steak.

I like it but don’t think it feels that special. It’s a bit dark and gloomy, with lots of hard surfaces. The Air Street branch feels much more festive to me.

The food and drink are amazing. Service is great. Perfect before going to the theatre. As others have said they will make a cocktail for your sister. Definitely somewhere I would take a sibling for their birthday.

Been many times. It’s the best one in the chain in my opinion.

We did it for our anniversary. was amazing. the food and service were impeccable. it is a bit dark so probably not the best atmosphere for a big, rowdy celebration but lovely for a small or romantic celebration

I've been to most of the London ones and I think that is one of the best.
