Local councillors. Should they visit the area they represent?

Only because I don't think ours ever do. Or else they would probably have noticed the flytipping in the estate and got something done about it.

Yes, I'm grumpy it's left for me to deal with again.

I think they have to live or work in the ward they represent.

Have you tried contacting them? They should have surgery hours on your local authority website. Or possibly an email.

I once emailed one of my councillors about fly tipping. They replied that they were aware of the issue and they had raised it with the Council, but people were very sneaky and so it was difficult.
