Or know what it's called?

It was similar to Spirograph, but battery operated.

You put a circular piece of paper in the middle, it spun around, and you used felt tips to make circular patterns.

I've looked in the online Argos catalogues for 1992-1996.

Spiromatic is what you're thinking of @cliffdiver
I had one in the late 1960's and you could also use paint with it which became very messy!

I’m sure I had one in 80s - it was blue and yellow. I loved it. I can’t remember what it was called though sorry. I don’t remember it having batteries though

There was dial a design, but didn’t use batteries

I think I’ve found it in 1984 Argos. Is it ‘ dial a design’???

The Spiromatic looks similar, Im sure it was blue though. I think it did come with paint.

Definitely not a Dial a Design.

Yes. I had something like this. It had magnetic plates with different shaped holes and a pen holder. Was a cube shape?

Have a feeling it was called rainbow something?
