Dear Amazon, I am 58, DH is 65 - we do not need a car seat.

DH had the snip about 15 years ago so that ship has sailed. Grin

Sort your algorithms out.

Just checked back on the last few months orders, I have ordered nothing that would remotely set this off.

Perhaps they think you are about to become grandparents.... 🤣

I ordered a pair of fox ears for my daughter for a big school play. They were quite expensive and labelled ‘cosplay’ I get some very interesting items coming up now, weirdest was some Darth Vader rubber costume!

I bought a replacement wing mirror when mine got cracked. I now get offered car mirrors for other car makes/models, presumably they think I have a car part collection.

Amazon put on my home page 'Looking for a gift?' and underneath their suggestion was the last item I had bought - a 12g bag of dog biscuits Grin - so that's Christmas sorted for the family.

They seem to think I want to buy camping equipment. However I have a medical condition which means that I need to wee about every 2 hours all the way through the night without fail and due to a night time encounter with the campsite dog the last time I went camping and needed the loo in the middle of the night, I've sworn off camping for life.

You are the perfect age to be DGPs of toddlers - my parents are 59 and 65 and have recently bought a carseat off of amazon.

Is this going to be like the time that a father found out his teenage DD was pregnant due to the algorithms on a storecard in a US supermarket?

If you ever clicked that sort of thing, Amazon will now want to sell you everything they have! I bought a new kettle recently, and they seemingly think I should buy another for every room of my house 😂
