Hi! So I’m 40 weeks pregnant and a day overdue, almost 2! This is my first baby and I was so set on her coming weeks early. Baby had other ideas in mind. Anyway, I’m trying to naturally induce myself. Yesterday I had a membrane sweep & I was 1cm dilated and she said my cervix is soft. I’m currently trying everything recommended, long walks, ball bouncing, raspberry leaf tea, spicy food & occasionally sex. But I’m just curious for sex to work does your other half have to finish inside you ? Weird question I know.. but I’ve been reading it’s the sperm that softens the cervix more, whereas before it was saying the female hormone. I’m praying I go into labour tonight I want to meet my girl as soon as possible I’ve waited long enough, any advice is welcome & prayers for a safe an natural labour & birth & for me and baby to be safe and healthy also.
Also praying my baby lets me meet her tonight/ tomorrow!!
