mumsnet help needed please- tights!!!

i have so many problems with tights every year. black opaque ones you wear with dresses. my toes go through, or they fall down, or they’re really uncomfortable.

i’m 5ft 8 and size 16. so what size should I get and which brand do you recommend???

Snag here too. I honestly thought they were all hype and clever marketing until I tried them. Now I will never wear another make of tights! And they've transformed my wardrobe as suddenly I want to wear skirts and dresses as my tights are now comfier than trousers

Leggings all the way (but then I wear smart boots so not obvious I'm in leggings!) I hate tights!

Snags. But I really wish their advertising bods would fuck right off. I wish they were shit so I didn't have to buy them!!
Anyway, they are really comfy, don't usually get holes. I've had to replace mine each winter so far though as they do get a bit bobbly - I wear mine 3 or 4 times a week, rotating 3 pairs though. So they get a lot of wear.

What the feck are those garter tights? Don't buy them @Fleetheart they definitely get holey

Yes definitely Snags tights too - I'm fairly tall and find them a good fit and really soft and comfortable to wear. They last well too and don't seem to ladder.
