What do you read to get information or and what do you watch.
I feel as if I'm not with it half the time. Just looking for good articles to read.
I think I'm brain dead after having three children and hitting the menopause.
I was out with my friend the other day and she was talking about a murder case in America related to the UK
She said you must know about it its been plastered all over Facebook.
Well I don't go there for my news !!
I read bbc but don't know if I'm navigating it correctly, the guardian and ok even the daily mail (I like the lay out)
Any tips greatly appreciated.

I'd love a daily news roundup too. The Google app just isn't doing it 😕

I just feel as thick as mince sometimes.
I wonder where I've been half the time !!
Hopefully we will get some tips soon.

The amount of info available to us is overwhelming OP, don't beat yourself up for not knowing everything that's going on - some experts say it's not good for us to be flooded with so much info, not good for democracy even. We become more obsessed with covering terrain and less bothered about facts and logical coherence.

I'd be pretty proud of bit getting news from Facebook. At best it's an echo chamber and at worst you're getting the lowest of the low sensationalist nonsense. I think if you generally keep up with a few quality sources that's good enough. No need to know ALL the news

News podcasts are great, if you're on Spotify there is CNN for American news, Al Jazeera for world news, Financial Times for businessy news. Not sure about UK centric but I'm sure there are some. CNN and Al Jazeera are 3 mins each and FT around 10, so can listen in the car / on a walk / while getting ready in the morning.
