Food shopping in Aldeburgh

DP and I are going self-catering in Aldeburgh soon. Never been before and I don't know anything about the food shops there. Can I get decent fruit and veg/fresh bakery bread/good ground coffee etc? We don't drive so really need shops in Aldeburgh itself.
TIA

Aldeburgh is full of delicious food. Delis, bakeries (Two Magpies) fish and seafood from the huts along the beach - get the Noon pies from Ash smoked fish, they are amazing. Have a lovely time.

Oh, brilliant, thanks so much. I looked up Two Magpies – yum!

There is a lovely Prezzo too. But they only take card payments. It's a lovely walk to along the beach to thorpness, they have places to eat too.

Just back this morning. Agree with PP. There is also a Co-OP for everyday bits.

Thanks all, that's lovely to hear.

@Intermittentparps, I did thank you. I've been a few times over the years. It's a lovely part of the world. I'd say both Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are half day out type places, both gorgeous but small and compact and for a slower pace of life. Snape Maltings is worth a visit. Southwold up the coast is a real gem, beautiful sandy beach with an oldy world feel and no amusements! For a livelier seaside resort then head to Lowestoft.

Enjoy

All sounds good to me Grin We are in the market for beach and marsh walks and a very slow time.
