Isolating as we all have Covid 😭

I'm a planner Grin

Yesterday was Playdoh followed by making our own witches hats
Today we have played with water beads most of the day and are going to do some Halloween colouring
Tomorrow we are making an outdoor road in the garden with masking tape and playing with cars, then watching Hocus Pocus. They are going to my parents for a few hours also.
Thursday we have a science experiment from school to do and we are also planning on making some of our collected conkers into spiders with pipe cleaners
Friday we are going to Butlins for the weekend Smile

Nothing. We have no money and my dc are happy enough playing out with friends and staying home to read, play with toys or play on their devices.

The only thing we have planned is a trip to a shopping centre on payday so dc2 can go on a climbing thing.

MissyB1 · 26/10/2021 15:59

Very little. We have booked an outdoor mini golf thing for Thursday. And we’ve been out for breakfast this morning- sat outdoors and weather was a perfect autumn day.
Dh is having a hip replacement next week so we can’t risk any of us testing positive.

Not much here. Kids only little (3 + 1). DP working all week and often late home so misses bedtime. We went to the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester yesterday and Eureka in Halifax today but we have to work around dd2's naps so morning visits only.

Might go Halloween sweet and pumpkin shopping tomorrow and meeting a couple of friends on Thursday morning for a walk and coffee. Forecast says rain so might be a short walk!

Doughnuts68 · 26/10/2021 18:01

Thanks all

We did Pumpkin Picking yesterday and zoo today. Dinner out and Halloween Circus tomorrow. DD is out with her Nan on Thursday so I'm doing housework.

BirdyBirdyTweetTweet · 26/10/2021 18:06

Nothing I'm afraid. I need to catch up on housework and save money for Christmas.

canichange · 26/10/2021 18:13

Nothing. DS1 came down with chicken pox yesterday. We had soooo many nice things planned Sad

OnceuponaRainbow18 · 26/10/2021 18:17

Swimming once, holiday club for 2 days, Halloween party this weekend, will go pick a pumpkin and carve it some point

Newchallenge · 26/10/2021 18:18

Swimming. Pizza hut trip. Yes Day. Board games

Badgerstmary · 26/10/2021 18:18

Went to see my dad for a couple of days. Day trip to London. Blood test for youngest ds today & covid vaccination for him tomorrow. He’s not impressed! 😆

WakeUpLockie · 26/10/2021 18:20

No ‘days out’ really, we’re down visiting family a few hours from home until tomorrow, had a morning at the pier and just been playing at the house. Thurs and Fri no plans. Saturday swimming lesson as usual, Halloween party at a friends’. That’s it!

confusedofengland · 26/10/2021 19:02

Finished isolating at midnight 🎉

So went to London today - saw Tower Bridge opening & went to Museum of London

Tomorrow I'm working in the morning then local mini theme park in the afternoon

Thursday pumpkin picking

Friday I'm working so they are with my parents. Then seeing friends in the evening

Saturday I have afternoon tea with my sisters & they will have home cinema at my parents' house with their cousins

Sunday homework, football & trick or treating

So a busy week, but we are more than ready for it after 10 days isolating, including my birthday & missing lots of end of half term celebrations.

Doughnuts68 · 26/10/2021 19:52

Sounds good

I'm not really doing anything with ds this half term. He's with his dad today, tomorrow and Sunday and iss having skiing leasons. I had some time off work last month due to covid so I'm not getting paid as much on Friday so can't really afford to go anywhere. I did give ds a little hamper of Halloween crafts and sweets so he's a happy bunny. We will probably go to the park on Friday and I've promised to go to McDonald's for tea on Saturday night.

wendz86 · 26/10/2021 20:11

Yesterday we went pumpkin picking and did a bit of baking with youngest . Today we went to the zoo for a couple of hours (we have membership ). Tomorrow is my birthday and we have family coming to go out for lunch . Thursday we are going to carve pumpkins . Friday both dds have gymnastics camp and youngest has swimming lesson .

flowers141 · 26/10/2021 20:21

I had lots planned. instead we have covid and ere isolating and it is hell

MotherWol · 26/10/2021 21:19

Not much; DD’s swimming mon-fri, we’ll probably do a couple of nature walks, day trip to see the grandparents, maybe a trip to the coast. That’ll fill the week up nicely without costing a fortune and as long as there’s ice cream she’ll be happy.

Doughnuts68 · 27/10/2021 09:09

Flowers - aww
