Romantic night at home

I really want to organise a romantic night at home for my DH this weekend. We've had a few rough months with bad news and other bits going on. Unfortunately we really struggle to get a babysitter for our DD but luckily she goes to bed at half 6 so we still have a lot of time on our hands. Really wanted to do something more special and something a bit different than just cooking something nice. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone had any good nights in during lockdown?

Go outside! I ordered a few hay bales from our local farm to use as seating and covered then with throws, lit the fire pit so we were warm and we had a picnic followed by hot chocolate under the stars just chatting away,It was lovely,so quiet and peaceful but with a crackling fire and lovely nibbles and all snuggly warm with the solar lights twinkling too just fab! This does only work if you have a garden though!!My dh thought I was barmy at first but he was really chilled out and enjoyed it,Laate night picnics in October are the best!!!

Lots of candles, low mood music, nice dinner and a bottle of wine, set the table with nice crockery/cutlery, and dress up as if you were going out to a restaurant.
Sex on the sofa for dessert as an added bonus Wink
