15's a true Northern Ireland tradition

15 Digestive biscuits
15oz can condensed milk
15 marshmallows
15 glace cherries
15 walnuts
Desicated coconut

Crush the biscuits and chop everything else up to the same size (ish) mix all together apart from the coconut. Roll in to a cylinder or balls and roll in the coconut. Refrigerate

Obviously leave the nuts out if allergies are an issue

TSSDNCOP · 25/10/2021 16:10

Cheesecake for USA

BareBelliedSneetch · 25/10/2021 16:10

If you can melt things then Brazilian brigadeiro are amazing and so easy.

happylittletree · 25/10/2021 16:11

Brigadeiros(Brazil)

www.cookingclassy.com/no-bake-cookies/ an American classic. Contains peanut butter though

happysunr1se · 25/10/2021 16:15

Mochi are actually really easy to make and no baking involved, just a microwave. They don't traditionally have ice cream in them, that's a relatively new thing.

Normally it's red bean paste, black sesame paste and you can also fill with peanut butter, lotus seed paste. You could even put fudge inside, that would be tasty. Or jam....

The Chinese version is nian gao. My sil makes one with coconut milk and fried in butter.

AdaColeman · 25/10/2021 16:16

Chocolate truffles (Belgium)

Peppermint creams (eerrr...Lapland)

Fairy bread (Holland & Australia)

PurplePosies · 25/10/2021 16:16

These all sound amazing! My diet is screwed isn't it? Grin

Frozen maple syrup could be the end of me!

To do it properly you need a snow bank. Do you have a snow bank? Grin

Crunchymum · 25/10/2021 17:06

Was going to say Fairy Bread. Someone has already mentioned it.

LoathesomeLinsey · 25/10/2021 17:08

gingercat beat me to it!

Fifteens! Extremely sweet. I love them.

Sgtmajormummy · 25/10/2021 17:16

Readymade almond shortcake biscuits sandwiched around Nutella. Called Baci di Dama (ladies’ kisses) in Italy.

No bake treats of the world?!
PurplePosies · 25/10/2021 17:34

@MrsTerryPratchett

It's definitely cold enough in Scotland for a snow bank to appear at any moment!

Check out things that can be made with madeleines, eg dip in melted chocolate and then desiccated coconut to make Lamingtons (Australia).
