I need a long, thin, bendy material to make a temporary arch out of (for Halloween)

I want to make an arch to walk through. I have the cloth material to cover it but can't find anything to make the arch from that isn't £££?!

I have a 4ft fence entry way it will attach to on each side.

I thought bamboo but I tried a piece and it snapped.

Any ideas?

Oooh that could work! I'm not sure it would hold the weight of the material covering it though.

Use the poles from a tent if you have one, that’s what I’ve done before

An actual garden arch is a tenner on Amazon, and you could keep that all year maybe? I paid £7 for one of these from the local garden centre so have a look there too.

Hazel, find some and cut to length. You may need to tie a few pieces together to get the height you need. But it’s free.
