Decent restaurant in London for DPs 40th

Ordinarily we go away for our birthdays, but this year has been a tricky one financially and I'm also pregnant so we won't be going abroad this year (also Covid, obviously)
But it's DPs 40th this year so I still want to make it a nice weekend. The plan is to go to London get a night in a hotel and go to museums. Which is really a perfect weekend for both of us so quite happy with that.
But I really want somewhere nice to take DP for supper. Preferably reasonably central, and not tooooo expensive.
Please tell me your favourite nice places to eat! I'm in London quite a lot but never eat anywhere that special, so tell me your special places!

We always go to the Hawksmoor for special occasions. My favourite is the Air Street one.

Ivy Asia. Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be when I went

The Ivy

Joe Allen's

Salavador and Amanda's - they do incredible tapas

The Wolsey or Brasserie Zedal.

Both feel special without necessarily breaking the bank.

Bob Bob Ricard is really nice.

Or Ember Yard on Berwick Street in Soho for upmarket tapas/Spanish.
