Kmix or kitchen aid?

I'm hoping for some help with deciding on a Kmix or kitchen aid mixer. I've wanted a kitchen aid for years to just stare at but the kmix is a good price on Amazon at the minute and has a glass bowl but some of the reviews are mixed. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks

Most people on these threads will only have experience with one of the mixers and most seem happy with the more they have. I have a KitchenAid and I love it but I imagine I'd be equally happy with a kMix. If it's something that interest you, maybe look at different attachments you can get for each and whether they would interest you. I know that the KitchenAid has attachments for making pasta, sausages, mincing meat, chopping and slicing. Don't know anything about the Kenwood though, might be equivalents from them and none of them might interest you anyway.

For balance, I love my KMix! It has seen me through countless wedding cakes! Biscuit

Whoops Grin not Biscuit although the Biscuit was probably appropriate!

Similar, only have a Kmix but it was a demo model and I've been using it fairly regularly for over 20 years, and have a few attachments as well so it's not just a mixer.

DM has her Kmix for 50years and its on a replacement bowl (only about 5 years ago) but otherwise still perfect.

And DGM's version is still in use in DAunt's house (not sure exactly how old it is, but they got married in 1947 and DGF may well have bought it very early on in the 1950s as he had access to trade shows and factory tours etc through work, and DF remembers her baking with it when he was young, now in his mid-70s)

There are quite a few reviews on Amazon complaining of faults with the kmix
