How do I dispose of hangers

We are overrun. I haven't taken a hanger home from a shop when buying clothes for years but we still have too many. I've picked out the ones obviously from M&S to take back but what do I do with the rest?

The mix of plastic and metal plus the type of hard/brittle plastic means I'm pretty sure I can't put them in the recycling.

What do I do with them? Facebook has tons of people offering free boxes of hangers so I doubt anyone would want them.

It seems so wasteful just to bin them, but what to do?

Dry cleaners are always wanting them round our way.

I'll ask the dry cleaner and charity shop, thank you for the suggestions.
