It’s bollocks.
Delete and block the number

Squiff70 · 23/10/2021 21:21

It's fake, be careful!

GlacindaTheTroll · 23/10/2021 21:22

dementedpixie · 23/10/2021 21:37

Was going to say the same.

Any text I've had from anything nhs always has nhs in title with no reply, covid something, patient portal etc.

Mum2jenny · 23/10/2021 21:38

Clear Scam, please ignore

GrannieD · 23/10/2021 21:38

Definitely a scam and I almost fell for it. Wasnt until it asked for £4.99 payment that I realised.

Belledan1 · 23/10/2021 21:41

I realised now any scam texts always have a number on it. As said above will say NHS or Lloyd's bank etc if genuine.

ChequerBoard · 23/10/2021 21:47

It's very obviously a fake.

How would you 'fail' to apply for something that isn't compulsory??

Rainbowsew · 23/10/2021 21:49

NHS employee here- definitely a scam there's no such thing as a covid pass.

Mybalconyiscracking · 23/10/2021 22:00

Do love your user name OP, very evocative!

Stringsnthings · 23/10/2021 22:05

It's fairly obviously a scam

This is a scam that is not in doubt but you are wrong, there absolutely is an NHS Covid Pass, that is what you access via your NHS app to prove you have been vaccinated.

Scam

Was going to say this. Scam
ironorchids · 23/10/2021 22:22

Always look for the .gov.uk ending on any URL from the government.

Anything else is usually a scam.

Rainbowsew · 25/10/2021 23:00

@ChequerBoard what's the NHS app that proves you have the jab? I only have the card they gave me at the appointment.

dementedpixie · 25/10/2021 23:04

You get it from the play store or app store.

The appointment card isn't proof of vaccine

This may just be for the Scottish one, sorry
dementedpixie · 25/10/2021 23:07

www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/get-digital-covid-pass/ think this is for England

ChequerBoard · 25/10/2021 23:13
@ChequerBoard what's the NHS app that proves you have the jab? I only have the card they gave me at the appointment.
It's the NHS App. It existed pre Covid and does other things too - you can request repeat prescriptions etc via the app and it has been extended to provide the NHS Covid Pass.

You will need to register for the App and follow the NHS Login procedure to prove your identify the first time you log in which can take up to 24 hours to process m. After that it's password and/or face recognition protected.
