Tablet for drawing not iPad Pro

Dd is asking for an iPad Pro for Christmas, one of the primary reasons is to use it for drawing. We can’t afford this and I’m looking for recommendations for something similar but cheaper. Any ideas?

I would also love to have any advice on this!

I priced up an iPad pro and it was over £1000 for the pad and the pen
However it looks so amazing!!!

Samsung have a nice range. I have a Galaxy Tab S7+ with a 12" screen, which is about £650. That was new and the most recent model. You could probably pick up similar 2nd hand.
