I know people have been talking about it for a while but we've recently had a big expense so am trying to claw some Monet back by being more sensible for a while with the food shopping as it's our biggest expense.
Thought I would pop to Asda last night rather than sainsburys as it's supposed to be cheaper and for a small trolley shop I was £78 (only two expensive items were a big box of washing powder and a whole chicken for Sunday dinner).
Filled my car on the way out and it cost me £75, I'm sure it was always around the £65 mark until recently.
We are so lucky that we don't have to worry about the pennies too much these days which is a massive relief after years of debt and being skint but prices do seem really scary just now.
When I'm shopping I don't notice any big differences on individual items but added up there's a big increase.
