Not quite drunk but getting there Friday

I've had a week of it. 2 children with Covid, working full time, trying to home school plus all the other stuff....anyone want to join for a slightly tipsy rant?

I haven't started YET. Only because I have dominos on the way 😂

Killer week in Uni and the MIL that I actually think may be a direct descendant of the devil means I intent to be suitably more than tipsy by 9pm 😂

Ive felt particularly stressed this week because secondary school haven't sent a single piece of work for DD, yet they've managed to text me every day asking why my daughter is absent, despite my emails and phone calls to school!

I'm not partaking tonight but only because the tiler is arriving at 8am with his incredibly noisy tile cutter machine to finish the bathroom. I cannot deal with that after wine!

Just about to get stuck into the gin. Supposed to be on sober October but Expedia are being absolute w*kers about an upcoming holiday, so I'm definitely having a drink tonight!

It's half term, Dd on Scout camp, I'm on my first glass of wine.

Keeping my powder dry tonight, out on the lash with friends on Sunday. Sunday drinking is my absolute favourite.

Toddler is in bed. Deliveroo driver has just set off with our pizza, so the gin has been poured!

Just done a 4 mile run to the offy ….. I am so joining in. The offy is next to the chippy which has the best salt and pepper chips so zero fucks are given today cos I’m having a pig out !!

It's half term and takeaway has been polished off. In the beer.

Just poured my first glass. Had a moment of madness earlier and lopped off a load of my hair. I've been wanting to cut it a certain way for ages and hairdressers never get it right so I did it myself Luckily it is curly which hides a lot of flaws. Waiting for it to dry to see how bad it is!

I have already had quite a lot! No excuse really, although finding parenting DD12 very challenging. We’re not sure what’s going on for her but she has a tendency to talk at you rather than with you which is exhausting! I end up feeling verbally battered & unable to process it all. Going to try & get her assessed for ADHD.

P.S Just to say there’s a lot more going on than what I described in my post.

It was recommended on here a while ago. Someone started a thread asking who preferred prosecco versus cava, and several mentioned cremant, so I gave it a try. Love it. Fruity rose.

I’m already in…..on the whisky.
Have one child with confirmed covid, other 3 more than likely have it but after 4 trips to testing centre I’m putting off going again atm.
Had them off school all week and half term next week so the whisky is definitely needed!

I'm drinking Prosecco and DH and I are starting to potty train our 2.5 DD tomorrow. I'll be heading to bed soon but after a horrendous week in work, DH working away, alcohol is needed!!

Just started on the wine here. Getting over an awful cold, DH has just got back from work so we've just had dinner. DC are in bed. Got three days off next week and so looking forward to a break from work!

Does anyone think 3 whiskey (glenfiddich) miniatures 5 times per week is unnatural?
It isn't 'drunk' material, but I am concerned for myself.
