Lunch recommendations for between Milton Keynes & Surrey

I’m meeting my brother for a late lunch half way between Milton Keynes and Surrey. I’d like somewhere we can spend a couple of hours catching up over some nice pleasant environment.

Any recommendations please?

St Albans is lovely. Roughly in the middle and just off both the m1 and m25. Lots of restaurants in the centre and a huge park with a lake for a nice walk around.
