Can people give me their stories.

I've had a letter through telling me I have HPV and a low grade dyskaryosis. It says it's nothing to worry about but there going to arrange another appointment for a colposcopy.

How long am I likely to wait? What happens? I'm scared!

I had this a few years ago, it's not the nicest procedure but it was over quickly and the Dr doing it was a lovely female.
Get someone to drive you tho, or take a taxi as I was really shaky afterwards (had 2 lots of treatment) and driving home I started to cry and had to pull over!
I have had clear smears the last 2 (they test you more regularly at first) and I have just had another and am waiting for results but nurse said all looked fine so fingers crossed.
I know tons of women who have had it, you'll be fine. Hope all goes well!
